Honestly, I don't like posting over at TMS every time I have an idea for something over here, I'd rather keep the planning stages of stuff "in-house" so to speak with the people who are loyal to the league and will actually run in what we're planning before throwing something on TMS and getting people involved that may show up for a single race if we're lucky.
As far as the Madhouse mod, I think it could be a fun mod, obviously it would be a short track only series, largest track being something like New Hampshire. What I have in mind would be a 1x wear factor no pitting type series. I think it would be pretty cool to do it real short track style with heats and stuff but we'd have to find a good way to handle that.

well, you could do it based on points, every other=heat A then others heat B. Then sort them with odd qualifying group inside and evens outside with a pace lap, and then go

Then sort them with odd qualifying group inside and evens outside with a pace lap, and then go Yes that's the general idea, the concern is more getting everyone to cooperate to pull it off, especially with say Bowman Gray, that's a very short pace lap to get everyone in the right spot, unless we did two laps which may confuse some.

Would you be putting some dirt tracks in the line up? Never raced dirt tracks online, always raced it offline for fun.. This actually could be very fun. How about a short mini series with some dirt and short tracks. Maybe to get the juices flowing back into the league.. Then when your not so busy with real life racing, maybe doing some nice relaxed series where a lot of work isn't required... Have a few ideas about that. And you know if you need a heat server, you know who to ask. Cheers, Dave

The modifieds I have mentioned are not suited for both asphalt and dirt as far as I know (I've never seen that style of modified on dirt anyway) so we'd have to look into something different if we are to throw some dirt tracks in. I like the idea of running a few dirt tracks, something we've never done here with Heat.
I definitely don't like this place sitting here collecting dust while others take over our time slots so I want to get something going, even if it's not as "formal" as what is normally run. Let me know what you may have in mind Dave.

If it's the mad house cars, I don't think a public template was ever released.

I'm looking at a schedule consisting of 2 races a night, possibly inverting the finish of the first race for the second race. The system to determine a champion is going to be based on wins, and I may just award a small trophy to the champion.
Here are tracks I'm looking at to possibly make it on the schedule:
Ace Black_Creek Bowman_Gray Bristol Caraway Cayuga Concord Hickory IRP Jacksonville Jennerstown Martinsville Mesa_Marin Milwaukee_Mile New_Hampshire New_River nwilkesboro_n Rebel_Raceway Richmond USA_Int

Anyone have opinions on the tracks listed? I'm debating the schedule length right now as well. Input is always appreciated. Also I'll try to upload the setups I've been working with to let you guys try them out and get used to them. A word of advice though, these setups take finesse to drive, you can't just flat foot it out of the corners and expect to not spin out (in most cases). They're very fun once you get used to them though and pretty fast. I believe I was running a low to mid 13 second lap at Bristol with these cars.
