It looks like the league will be on hiatus for a while.

Your right it is a darn shame. NASR just finished up a fantastic series with G2, and had a great following of good drivers, and I had such a great time racing it with some old and new friends!! Well I hope we see you guys sometime in the near future doing more series!! If you do another series down the road, let me know!! Happy New Year everyone!!

Don't know if you're still taking suggestions or not, but something different for a paved mod, either Winston Cup 1987 or NR2K3 to Heat would be decent choices. As far as dirt, DRT's SNH mod is pretty awesome, it's dirt late models. They have a whole list of dirt tracks that they made, and the SNH mod can be ran in Normal mode so there's no need to mess with setups. Granted the mod is a 4 speed and real dirt late models only have low and high gears, Normal mode works perfect. The cars are tight and push a little in this mode, but the effects are pretty realistic.

Figured I'd give you guys an update on some things around here.
As of right now, there are no further plans to run another series in either division. I feel that currently there are some issues that would need to be addressed before we could offer a quality racing experience once again. One thing I'm also working on is a way to once again set this league apart from the other leagues out there who now are running the same mods in a similar style to ours.
There will once again be new mods released early in the year, which I'm sure other leagues will be all over. Personally, I'm hoping to finally see the modifieds see the light of day but I'm not going to speculate on how likely we are to see this mod. There seemed to be interest in running these around here and would likely be our target mod if released.
There is also the time involved in keeping the league going, from setting up the schedule and testing setups, to just keeping the website updated. I personally don't have the free time necessary to run things around here as we're entering the part of the year that gets devoted to my real live racing ventures. My other admins are also tired up with outside obligations and I know they don't want to attempt to run a series that's not up to the standards everyone expects from NASR.
When will we run our next series and what will it be? We really don't know at this point. There is also the possibility that we may not pursue another series and NASR will cease operations. This is not what I want to see happen but it is a possibility.

I hope you guys keep going, but sometimes real life can derail even the best of intentions. You want to stand out, because if everyone has the same league, what is the point. I enjoyed the series, even though I need to work on getting better. I trust your judgement, but if you take a break, I still hope to see you guys on the track.

Would you guys be interested in getting a short series going using the Madhouse Heat mod? If so, I'd also need help with people submitting setups for us to use. If there's interest in this, we'll develop the idea further.

I wouldn't say its a No, You should probably post at TMS or evan NHRL that you are thinking about starting another series. I am assumeing that most people have no idea that you had this thought. Depending on the time I would be interested in running. ;D I would help in reviews but as far as setups go I am the wrong person. Just my 2cents on this subject.

You should post @ TMS as I did not even know there was a new post here. I wouldn't mind running the madhouse modifieds. Your also welcome to use the latest Gasoline Alley Update available @ The Mod Squad
