I say option 3. How about Sprint Cars or Late Models Run on all Dirt Tracks?

I say option 3. How about Sprint Cars or Late Models Run on all Dirt Tracks? I personally am for running a dirt mod on some dirt tracks, but I don't know how everyone else feels about running it. The only thing I don't really like is Heat mods just can't really give a proper dirt feel.

I would recommend running a shorter Dirt series in "Division B" if you go that way and use Division A for one of the others being discussed such as another G2 Cup series, or anything NASCAR oriented.

i would like to do a dirt series as well but I'm afraid we would only get like 4/5 people who would want to do it. everyone else would be too afraid to even try it.
I'm glad i saw the g3 memo. my computer can barley handle the g2 mod, i doubt it would be able to handle the new g3 coming out. i guess its time to upgrade as I'm assuming this mod will spread like wildfire come February.

That's exactly my fear as well. For some reason a lot of the heat oval regulars are scared of trying dirt out. Running fixed setups may help but at the same time dirt is a totally different animal and the different handling may deter some people. As far as G3, I'm sure just like G2, things were changed to be easier on older systems, and I believe I read somewhere that some new things were implemented to improve online racing with it as well. We'll have to see about that when the mod gets released, or if Raybee or someone involved with the mod chimes in.

As for dirt, LCHRL is doing Tring tomorrow, I think they are fun, if guys want to get acclimated to dirt, I think legends is a good place to start.
but as for a good dirt mod, I'm not sure, perhaps the Brisca stuff. I remember those being fun. But if you're afraid of poor turnouts, don't do something that nobody else is going to do. Stick to what you know.

Regarding G3, instead of waiting for someone to chime in here, why don't you guys log in over at TMS and just ask the guys, instead of waiting around. Which mod is that? and maybe. That would be the featherlite modifieds mod which can be found on ffsbudman's site. The installer is crap but you just have to do some things manually.

Besides, this was just brought up in a league discussion and I prefer to keep the league's business on this forum instead of using theirs to do exactly what we're doing in this thread...

That's cool.. I just know they are a helpful bunch over there, and great guys. Heck those guys are the cornerstone when it comes to helping anyone out in heat. But your right, keep league business on your own forums. Was just an idea.

Im also assuming it will work better for your PC considering the thread dave probably linked to has info of it being lesser on the FPS. I would be interested in a modifieds mod, may I also point out madhouse heat aka bowman gray mod? I think its by drtnracer www.dirtncracer.com/dloads.html , row 1 column 3

Anyone interested in these mods or anything else from the page mustang linked to?
