We will once again be going back to the G2 platform but this time we will be running the Nationwide COT mod. We will return to Hardcore mode and fixed setups will return, but we may be using different ones than were included in the mod to facilitate more fun racing. Race night will also be kept on Tuesday nights.

UPDATE:
Wear factor will be 2x
Race lengths will remain the same for this series. Pitting will now be necessary using race lengths that are about the same as the previous series we have run.
Races will start at 9PM Eastern.
We will use random grid starts, no qualifying.
Custom paints are allowed, you are only allowed 1 paint for the series and can not update once the season has started. If you are using a number that corresponds with an in-game car, you may use a custom paint or the in-game paint.
There will be a setup thread posted with the setup we will be using if it is different than the one supplied in the mod. We will also post the name of the setup we will use if it is an in-game setup. It is your responsibility to download and practice with the given setups.

How come the wear is 1x when the overwhelming majority voted 2x? Just wondering.

That was my fault, I read the poll wrong. Good catch. Hopefully everyone realizes that with keeping the race lengths the same, we will have to pit, but hey, they voted for it.

Actually, I am one of "they." My issue with 1x was if you get damage early, you're in a hole for the rest of the race. I also was fully aware of us having to pit with this configuration and am just waiting to hear people start complaining when the season starts because so and so is faster in the pits than they are.
We're getting the schedule together right now and hoping for shortly after the new year.

I voted for 2x. I loved the 1x format in spirit. Sustaining damage early will ruin an entire race. And the 1st pitter will find himself racing the last guy who didn't pit but has damage. Cars running around with damage become a hazard to all the others. Although 2x will help this issue, I agree with GTS that complaints will rise with pitstops included. Is there a way to turn damage off in expert or Hardcore? Eitherway another NASR series is always welcome.

I'd have to test but i think we can turn damage off BUT then we might end up with 180mph bumper cars which only the kiddies would enjoy.

Why would you want to turn the damage off completely? That would take away any kind of realism when you get into an accident. Accidents is part of the up's and down's of racing. If you take away damage, you might as well go down to you nearest arcade, and pop in .50 cents to play a game there, and not even do sim racing.

We'd never do it anyway because like I said, it would become more bumper cars than legit racing. We've always been one of the first leagues to try experimental ideas but this isn't one we would ever consider.
