As much as I'd hate to do it, I may have to postpone the first week of racing. As with everything as of late it seems, my plans for having everything done that I needed to before Thursday night haven't worked out for me. I'll make a decision and post it on the forum in this thread no later than 7PM Thursday.

races are postponed, only the 4 of us in the server..not enough to run.

Now here's what I don't get, I see 12 people at least signed into the forum but yet only 4 people showed up at race time? Doesn't make sense to me.
Anyway, thanks goes to Donaldson for filling in for me tonight even though we still had to postpone things. A word of advice, if you like having free time, never decide you want a race car without having more than one other person help out at times while working full time. I don't envy the guys down in Charlotte.

Sorry I didnt show but I race in Hardore league also. Times where at same time so I went with league that I started first. Anyway we can set times or dates so they dont crash with each other So i can run the mods

I scheduled around dates that were supposed to have been when they were running. The schedule and dates have been out for a while now and no one said anything about a conflict until now. The way I see it is Thursday has always been this league's night to run so if another league decided to take the same night and time we had been running, then so be it.

yeah, hms changed their schedule at some point from what we originally had thought so now we have conflicting days (the 6/7 and 6/21 races will also now conflict with each other) we lost at least 3 people who decided to run there instead. But i agree that still doesnt change the fact like 12 - 13 people were signed into our forum last night and still didnt show up.

If scheduling is an issue then move the series to wednesdays. I understand that NASR has had thursdays for years but there was a long hiatus and Jesse is trying to find a spot for his league too. He has been very accommodating with his series. I'm sure we can work this out and get this NASR final series off to a great start. We can do it! Let me know how I can help or if you want me to negotiate with Jesse. ;D

OWAction runs on Wednesday at 9pm. That's exactly my point here, there is a league running every night of the week, sharing pretty much the same pool of drivers. We used to run both Tuesday and Thursday nights, but the Speedsims guys came to me to see if you could have Tuesdays for their league. That is the proper way to handle things, not just take over a day while another league isn't running. A little courtesy goes a long way. |
