Went to go upload N Daytona RPV on to the server. But with my mod I only have the Normal Day version of this track. Now is this suppose to be just a renamed track, or a 100 percent night track?
Anyways, will an admin shoot me a pm with a link or something. So then guys can start testing. Saturday I'm totally 100 percent busy so hopefully shoot me a pm tonight or on Sunday.
Thanks,
Dave

How would that work in say the Heatfinder server then? I'm almost 100% positive we ran the night version of that track on the server right after the mod came out but I can't remember how we accomplished it. I believe everyone had to go into their track folder and re-name the track, I myself have had a N_Daytona_RPV for quite a while. As a matter of fact I just pulled it up on 1.heatfinder.

The schedule (common.res) file on the server would have to be setup with a "Night" time for that track, otherwise only the Day version will work. Once put into the schedule you can then use the server command "server time night" or "server time day" to swap back and forth. In short, if the builder of N Daytona RPV sets it up to be night during the default "Day" time then you do not need to go through this hassle, but if they do not then you need to do this.

Ok I forgot about the time command. What I need to know is does everyone else have a Night_Daytona_RPV in their folder or just a Daytona_RPV? I had both and we had re-named it to N_Daytona_RPV to run it in 1.heat when the mod and tracks came out, I remember instructing people how to do it properly.

The track was released as N_Daytona_RPV due to online track naming restrictions and it was released together with Daytona_RPV in the 2011 Carset. You may be thinking of Night_Daytona_SP which was renamed to N_Daytona_SP or NDaytona_SP depending on the league.

I still for some reason believe we had to re-name it to N_Daytona_RPV (as I was told at one time, tracks wouldn't be released to have their names online compatible and we would have to manually re-name them) but regardless, if everyone does have a track by the name of N_Daytona_RPV, then no further discussion is required.
