yeah I'm not sure whats wrong with the heat community now a days. everyone wants to run in all the newbie leagues but not ones that actually have established themselves. i remember last year this place was the most fun you could have racing with the aero/wrs mod's.
its a shame, you would think everyone on heat would co exist, if that happened there would be 20 + car fields every race in every league.
you would think having the original mod and fixed setups that people would want to run here, its about the fairest and level playing field you will ever see. races are only gonna be won on pure driver talent.
but then again nobody from nhrl will join in if its fixed setups, they only want to participate in races that require 5+ years of tweaking their setups and being under a Nazi regime. No one from the newbie leagues will join because they are so determined to make theirs the best to even race anywhere else.
maybe the problem is there are too many leagues now. My only suggestion is possibly changing the day we race on? i don't know, its just frustrating.

Sorry guys, I had every intention on racing last night, I just couldn't wake up in time. Martinsville not one of my favorite tracks, but I was gonna race anyway.

I completely agree with you on that. We've only gotten Rookie and way back Lepage to do any racing here on a regular basis. I don't know what it is with Heat but none of the oval leagues have near the numbers they used to. It seems like every new person that comes into Heat figures out how to host and tries to run their own leagues. Other new people get drawn to those leagues and then quit Heat because those leagues just don't have the structure or basic know-how needed to run a successful league. I don't even know if changing nights would do anything. Originally we ran both Tuesday and Thursday nights and had good sized fields both nights. It definitely is frustrating and I don't know if there is a real solution to it.

Reason I don't attend more races is because I thought it the races started a 8:00 PM instead of 9:00 PM.
My fault there.

thats allright louie. We need more people on here other than me and vip getting word out about these races. if everyone on here spread word to all other drivers on heat to join in we would have better attendance. Martinsville was a good improvement because we pmed about 80% of the heat community, but still trying to get 12 - 15 drivers like it used to be every race so everyone needs to help us out.
