This conversation seems to have died down. Right now it looks like we're at either IRL or VTA on ovals and maybe a road course or 2. Comments? Opinions?

I guess i vote for IRL because hopefully it would draw in some of the speedsims guys who have ran this mod before.

voted IRL, wouldnt mind a series of these. Me racing depends on what kind of schedule is handed out

Well like I said, I like this series, it is solid and fast on ovals. Just have to be careful what oval you pick. Could be very draft heavy.

I have ran a very small amount of IRL so my knowledge is limited by far. Judging from the forum feedback possibly oval tracks are limited in their personalities. A large difference among tracks would probably be needed to keep them all from becoming a "plate" track. Maybe a short 4 week, 2x a night with IRL followed by a VTA series, which I also have limited time with.

This is the type of feedback we like, thanks guys.
I kinda like Rook's idea with the 2 races a night with both IRL and VTA. The Indy cars I think would be the most fun on the more technical tracks and the VTA cars I think may be best on the short to intermediate tracks but I have yet to actually test either of these two mods.

We're getting closer to announcing what our next series will be and it will be something different than we have done in the past. Details are still being ironed out but expect an announcement shortly.

All I'll say at this point is it's one we've done a little with but it's a very familiar mod.

Well considering the small field sizes we've been seeing recently, it's going to have to be a mod with a strong appeal to many people. One thing you'll need to do though is gather up your friends for what we have planned.
