I would like to nominate this years all star race as one of the worst all star events of all time.
1. No exciting action
2. No awesome wrecks other than the 1 shootout wreck.
3. Boring single file racing
4. No drivers getting even with each other (Busch/Harvick, Newman/Montoya)
5. Not even an exciting green white checkered finish. just a boring 10 lap single file race.
6. Hardley any side by side racing.
7. Drivers where using this race as more of a test session for the 600 rather than actually caring to even win this thing.
8. No redeeming qualities whatsoever.
About the only exciting thing this event produced was when Carl Edwards totaled his front end doing a spin in the grass after he won. What a complete bore. You know its bad when a bunch of drivers who haven't won a race during the shootout put on a better show than 20 drivers who have won.
And yet the announcers hype this crap so bad, and are like ohhh well this is one of the greatest all star races of all time. Its like what all star race are you watching?
personally i think its time they move this event to a different track, like a darlington or a bristol.
