I am Retiring...

Well guys, we all knew it was coming. Maybe not this quick, but we knew it would come. It is with great sadness that I announce my retirement from NASCAR Heat and NASR as a whole. I have had a great time, with running in leagues, and owning the NHDL. I have just grown bored of the racing lately, and have had too much on my plate. I wish I could stay around longer, but I think being involved for two plus years is a nice chunk of time, that I have devoted to the NASCAR Heat community, and to certain people in general. I am not one to leave without paying tribute to the men and/or women who have helped me get to where I am today, so here is a list of good friends I have compiled, while played Heat and owning a league:

ROLL TIDE - No doubt No. 1 in my mind. He was a TRUE friend that ANYONE could look up to. He was a huge help to me when running the NHDL. I will miss him dearly, and have for the time he has not been around. RIP Rick, RIP.
TrumpetJ - Jacob, it has been fun racing with you. I have had a good time getting to know you an becoming friends. Thanks for all you did to help with the NHDL.
Aflac99 - We have had our differences, but you still came to the NHDL early on, when there were only about three guys there, and for that, I thank you.
Hman24 - Probably one of the most helpful guys to me, with painting, and being there when I needed to vent. I have missed having our daily chats since you went off to college, but hopefully we can talk in the future.
Grumpy - What a great friendship we have had. You have done a lot for me, from helping with the NHDL, to just having some good chats about things. I will certainly miss you on the track.
Ed Burchell (CKA19) - Wow. I really have no words. I mean, you helped me be a much better person. You gave me some GREAT advice for running a league, and have really given me a self-esteem boost since I started racing. We have had an awesome friendship, and I hope to continue talking with you. Something we haven't done recently.
GTSVip9 - Thanks for all the good times bud. I rarely ran NASR, but you made the last season of the NHDL great with that partnership. I know who to hit up if I ever decide to run a league again.
Donaldson - Thanks for all the constructive critizem and all the help you have given me over the past year or so. I appreciate it bud.
Raybee/Blaxman/TWchad and Moderators/Admins of TMS - Thanks for all you do for the Heat Community. For a 10+ year old game... Wow. I would have never imagined so many people would still be playing it right now.

And to all the little people - Thank you.

I am not ssurprised to hear this as people are growing up and having better things to do with there life. There is so much more to do as a teenager than sit and play video games.

As far as helping you with the NHDL NP, It was a fun league to race in. I don't care what anyone says about it. I enjoyed it. Good Luck again Bud and I'll cya on AIM sometime.

Mc (I have a hard time not calling you Mc), good luck with any future ventures you may have. Your league is what got me started in online racing, and for that I thank you. If it weren't for you I wouldn't be running tonight's NASR All Star race. As NHDL's first ever champion, I want to thank you for your contributions to the Heat community, and wish you luck down the road.

Haven't we had a very interesting past together...first I race against you, then you race for my team, then I race for your team, then we become competition to each other on seperate teams, then I race under you with you as admin, then we become admins together in the same league...and even through everything, I still consider you a close friend and look forward to keeping in touch for a very long time. Good luck in anything and everything you pursue!!! There are no limits to what you can achieve. Take care....oh and BTW...you do realize that they did a survey and found that 90% of guys that LEAVE Heat come out of retirement!!!

It's been great racing with you and having you as a part of NASR. I know it's hard to find the time to devote to a hobby like this, let alone put the time in to keep things running. We'll be here if you find some time for Heat again. Good luck in the future, there's always a place for you here at NASR.

I just want to thank you mc. From talking about heat and talking about how awesome it was when Jamie McMurray won the 500. We were both witnesses, lol.
Nhdl was the first league I joined and I had some wonderful times there. Nhdl was not only a learning experience for on track, for off track I learned many lessons that I continue to utilize today.
Without the nhdl I probably would have no interest whatsoever in heat. Hope I get the opportunity to race you again, and at the very least, I hope to continue talking to you about the same ol bs.
