The first few weeks I will be working around another league's schedule, so that's the reason for the races not being consecutive.
5/24: Jennerstown & Martinsville 6/7: Mesa Marin & Richmond 6/21: Hickory & IRP 6/28: Bristol & Concord 7/12: Bowman Gray Twin 50's
All tracks are either original Heat tracks or can be found at The Mod Squad. All Races will be 50 laps in length unless for some reason the length would require a pit stop, I'll adjust accordingly as I haven't yet had the chance to do full test runs at all tracks. Random grid starts for both races each race night 1x wear factor Identical setups Race start time will be 9PM Eastern.
The point system will work as follows. Win = 1 point. Winning both races in the same night earns a bonus point, so a driver could end up with a max of 3 points from a race night. Only the winner will receive points as this series is about winning.
In the event of a tie at the end of the series, the champion will be determined by the following tie-break criteria: Tie will be broken by average finishing position, the driver with the best average will be awarded the championship. So while this series is about winning, every position still could matter.

I would like to thank the guys over at Revolutionary Racing for allowing us to use their server for this series. The server IP address can be found at heatfinder.net or at their site.

We're going to move on to the next race in the schedule. If we get a decent turn-out, I'll find a way to re-schedule those first two. If we don't get a decent turn out, I'm scrapping the season because I can't take time out of my schedule for trying to run something that only 4 people are showing up for.

Not sure how that matters considering we use identical setups and run Thursday night.

But if finals end on Wednesday, we race Thursday and you leave Friday... I don't think I'll ever figure you out haha
Anyway, as long as we have 5 people show, we will be racing. 4 or less and it's not happening. We would have been able to run the first week if I wouldn't have gotten tied up with other things and been able to make it, but I will definitely be there this week.

What is everyone's opinion on adding one track from the missed first week of the schedule to each of the next two scheduled events? It would mean 3 50 lap races at 3 different tracks. Jennerstown and Martinsville would still count as their own week for points purposes but would be completed in two different weeks. Opinions?

Not sure we'll get enough racers though to make it worth running 3 as hms is also running races on the rest of the scheduled thursday nights. I had a blast @ Mesa Marin, too bad I killed my chances for fighting for the win by hitting the wall late in the race lol ;D .

It sure is a good thing we're shutting down at the end of this, I'd hate to have to ask another league to give our night back, or even communicate at all with an existing league about a possible conflict. I guess since there has to be a league for every mod out there, it doesn't matter if you just take a day and time without asking about it first. Ok that's the end of my rant. We'll play it by ear, if we have the drivers for it and they want to after the night's scheduled two races, we'll make up one of the two that were missed.
